This lecture is the story of a cruise which left Southampton and sailed through the Mediterranean Sea to the port near Rome. We then took a bus to Florence where we stayed before travelling to Venice where we boarded the Orient express train which took us to the coast and once we’d crossed the channel we boarded another train back to London. “An exciting and one-of-a-kind holiday.” Not exactly a direct route but a much more interesting one.
