Emylia pincushion doll has been stitched in antique style with the beautiful DMC cotton threads over the special hand dyed linen. The Emylia doll head was customized according to my choices for an Irish doll: shamrocks decals on the bodice and sleeves, auburn hair and crystal strass at the base of the head feather. The shape of the skirt recalls the Queen Ann style dolls, and the green velvet overskirt is finished with ecru lace trim.
Kit includes: Porcelain half doll head, Ecru linen, DMC threads, Mill Hill Petite Glass Beads, Ecru felt, white fusible interfacing, white polyester finishing fabric, green velvet fabric, ecru cotton lace, light green polyester ribbon, ecru sewing thread, basting thread, ecru heavy duty polyester thread, fiber fill, thick mat board base, Styrofoam cone, wooden dowel, lace.
