The trinket slide box which will be an instant favorite from Olde Colonial Designs was the inspiration for this design. The cherry box has jointed sides with a slide top that lets you easily open and close. It is lined with felt to keep your needles and scissors safe and comfy. On the top is a miniature sampler stitched in Gloriana, AVAS and DMC. Stitches include Smyrna, eyelets, and queen in addition to cross stitch and petit point.
The 36 count sampler will be mounted on top with extra puffy padding so you can easily use it as a place to rest your needles while you stitch. The box measures 3”x4”x 3” tall. Complete instructions will be included for the finishing and mounting of the sampler to the top of the box. This is sure to become an heirloom in your family.
Stitches taught Cross Stitch, Eyelet Stitch over six, and Nun’s stitch.
Kit includes: 3×4″ Cherry wood box, 36 CT cream linen, silk, and cotton threads, with instructions for finishing.
