You should travel to your classes with basic supplies listed here, each class will list anything beyond the basics. Included in this selection should be extra needles(tapestry and sharp), basting thread, embroidery scissors, pencil, notebook, ruler, pins, highlighter, hoop or small frame, extension cord, and any extra lighting or magnification you may require.

Skill Levels

All:
Suitable for everyone

Beginner:
Knows how to thread a needle and has basic sewing knowledge

Intermediate:
Reads moderately complex cross stitch charts calling for many color changes and worked in a variety of stitches; has worked over 2 threads on linen or other even-weave fabrics

Advanced
As a stitcher, you are familiar with most counted-thread stitches, are experienced and at ease stitching on fine-count fabrics, and enjoy learning complex techniques.
