The 17th century was an exciting period in sampler making’s history. Three types of white-work predominated creating historians to declare this century as ‘England’s Golden Age’ of sampler making. What were these white-work styles? Why were they made? What do they look like? Am I able to do this white-work embroidery today?
Join me, through a power point presentation, as we take a step back in time and explore these beautiful embroideries allowing me to talk about my favorite subject . . . SAMPLERS!
