I have found this lovely Quaker sampler, so small I couldn’t resist. Stitched in black and dark green, this was clearly a tribute to a family with their initials and I fell in love with it. I stitched the first piece on 28 count linen over 2 to turn it into a traveling jewelry case. I then stitched a second piece on 28 count linen over 1, so the sampler was the same size as the original and I turned that piece into a case for eyeglasses, which I trimmed with cord. Everything you need to make both items is included in the kit. Quick to stitch and practical to use putting beautiful embroidery into every day use to surround us with lovely things that enhance our lives.
Kit includes: 28 count linen in cream and flax, interfacing lining material, wadding, Silk Mill and DMC threads, button, ribbon, elastic, plastic canvas and instructions
Please bring to class your usual stitching supplies, needles, and scissors, plus magnification and extra lighting if needed.
