The seventeenth century saw the creation of printed needlework designs giving Pilgrim women the ability to create their own pretty pockets to hold sewing necessities or pennies for the baker. Worked on 36 count linen using richly colored silk threads, the motifs are found on many samplers of that era. Tucked into this pocket is a specially made wooden thread holder with the Plimoth 1620 logo. And don’t forget a petite needle case! Your pennies will have good company. The kit contains everything you need to create this beautiful project. Full instructions will be included.
Kit includes: Linen, silk threads, lining fabric, interfacing, full instructions, needles.
Please bring extra lighting and magnification if needed.
