“Stay” is a charming word in a Friend’s vocabulary, a charming & sweet sentiment penned by Louisa May Alcott, one of my most favorite 19th-century authors. This motto sampler is embroidered on 30-count off white linen, using threads from The Gentle Art; dominant colors are red & blue. The motto is anchored by sweet flower baskets, & is surrounded by a leafy border. The sampler measures 3” High X 8” Wide.
“The March Sister’s” Smalls include Amy’s Fancy Scissors’ Fob, Jo’s Journal/Needle-book, Beth’s lavender-filled Sachet, & Meg’s Six-sided Pin Cushion with two of the Smalls inspired by 19th-Century quilt blocks. All the projects coordinate with the “Stay” sampler. Lauren brings this back to Celebration for all those stitchers that missed it many years ago!
Kit includes: Charts, diagrams, text instructions, 30 Count off White Linen, GA-Sampler & Simply Shaker threads, needles and finishing supplies.
Please bring extra lighting and magnification if needed and normal stitching supplies.
