The road to Mandalay is, of course, not a road at all, it is a river. This is the story of the journey from Rangoon (now Yangon) to Mandalay, in the country of Burma, now known as Miramar. You will see photos, souvenirs and reach parts rarely seen. Rock carvings so intricate it will take your breath away. See photos of traditional dances and ancient buildings. This country is rarely visited now by foreigners, so this is a rare chance to be able to glimpse Burmese life when I revisited the country after 50 years.
