Denise DeMore of DDM Needleworks leads another exciting workshop inspired by an antique Shaker heart shaped sewing case in her collection. Your delightful piece will be stitched on 32 count linen and will feature silk and metallic threads, bullion and French knots, reverse chain, satin, lazy daisy and back stitches. You will also create a small heart needlebook in order to understand the concept of heart folding. This will surely be a treasure to cherish.
Kit includes: 32 count linen, silk and metallic threads, 4 heart forms, interfacing, ribbon, silk lining, needle; plus cotton fabric and ribbon with 4 smaller heart forms.
Please bring to class the usual stitching supplies, scissors or cutter for mat board, sewing thread, plus lighting and magnification if needed.
