Join your friends down on the village green to celebrate the annual Flag Day. American flags will be seen everywhere on this adorable sewing purse that will keep you in a patriotic mood. Open the purse up and you will find inside the pocket a needle case and a scissors case, both repeating the patriotic theme. Tucked in the scissors case is a tiny pair of red Bohin scissors. Attached to the scissors is a fob with a flag motif, of course! Lots of different stitches are used on this 36 count linen design, including eyelets, mosaic, queen, Smyrna variation and petit point. Complete finishing instructions will be given in class. This sewing purse will be a delight to own and use.
Kit includes: 36 count linen, silk threads, a small bit of DMC, interfacing, French calico for lining, Bohin scissors, needles and instructions
Please bring to class the usual stitching supplies, plus lighting and magnification if needed.
