Mending Box of the Sea a 3 x 5 hand made burl wood box is used to create a reproduction mending box design size 5 X 6. I have used 32 Count Linen with over-dyed flosses and Brass charms including a Seahorse latch. Come stitch with me while watching the Mermaid come alive under the sea. The lid opens to store scissors or a special item. I will concentrate on the finishing while you are stitching the design. Leaving the class with all the prep work completed. You simple finish the stitching and construction becomes a simple process. So come join me under the sea.

Kit includes: Burl Box, Linen, Floss, Charms, Antique Lace, Interfacing, Template Boards, Chart, and complete finishing instructions.

Bring to class: Paper scissors, 12" ruler and normal stitching supplies.

Royalty Companion & Finishing

Join me for Royalty Companion a special class created to coordinate with Jeannette Douglas Designs ABC Royalty. We will finish all the prep work for the finishing of the Box top while stitching the companion piece to fit in an Olde Colonial Designs Burl Box. Mount a Pin Cushion lid using Silk Dupioni with tiny beads. Then make that special pin to place in it. We will then move onto finishing off the Bell Pulls and twisted cord for the hanger.

Kit includes: Silk Dupioni, needles, Bell Pulls, Beads, Linen for the box top design and floss to create the companion piece. Lots of hand outs and all the mount boards with complete finishing instructions. So visit with me and go home with something all ready for finishing. Lets keep this one out of the stash pile.

Bring to class: Paper Scissors, Paper Towel, and normal stitching supplies.
