This little sewing box and accessories was inspired by some of the ironwork I saw in Maryland. It is stitched on 32 ct Navy Bean Linen from Lakeside. A variety of stitches are used to create the many flowers and butterflies, with double running used for the fence design. It is stitched with Anchor floss and Needlepaint threads, with an accent of beads. The inside and the accessories have a matching silk lining. Kit includes: Linen, threads and finishing supplies.

This petite linen bag has the look of 16th C sweet bags, complete with gold and spangles. Louise will use simple cross stitches, queen stitches, double running, lazy daisy, eyelets and backstitches to make this bag which measures 6 1/2" x 5" when complete. The bag is finished with cording made of gold and green threads, tassels and gold-plated beads. Paillettes and petite gold beads decorate the bag and make this a special addition to your collection.

Kit contains: Au Ver A soie and Needlepoint, Inc. silks, DMC cotton and metallic threads, Kreinik gold coed and braid, Mill Hill gold beads, gold paillettes, 36ct Edinboro linen, white silk lining fabric, gold plated beads, chart, instructions, photo and needle. Bring hoop and magnifier if needed.
