Susan is known as a needle artist/technician. She has had the pleasure of designing and teaching for shops, guilds and events for the past 30 plus years. She was also selected to appear on HGTV to represent the counted thread industry. Susan is fun and entertaining and has long list of publications where her work and story has appeared. Celebration is proud to announce that there has been a change of format to the Saturday Night Event! Many attendees have been frustrated with trying to fit in dinner after class time and others have been skipping it entirely. This year our event will open at 6:30pm for seating and then an Italian Buffet Dinner served at 7pm. This will add to your relaxation and enjoyment and be a wonderful wrap-up to your week with stitching friends.
16 years of Celebration of Needlework! This is what the Saturday Evening Event is all about! We are celebrating our years of fellowship and our support of women through our silent auction to support Breast Cancer Research. It will be our closing event for a spectacular week. There is the opportunity to laugh together, play a fun game and win prizes, and receive an extraordinary stitching gift. Our hostess, Susan Greening Davis, has designed a spot sampler especially for you and you will be anxious to take it home and finish it ASAP. You will view a slide presentation from the Victoria and Albert Museum in London that has been the inspiration for the design. The auction will feature donations from industry leaders, teachers and your favorite vendors which will inspire you to make amazingly generous donations to a very near and dear charity. This event will be sold out and we want you to be there to share in the excitement and rewards. Please register early.
