Olde Willow Stitchery

Robin Laukhuf is an entrepreneur, designer, and teacher; who has a Master's degree in Business and is currently working on her Doctorate. She is the owner of Olde Willow Stitchery Threads Inc., and enjoys teaching at area stitching guilds and shops. She has taught at national needlework trade shows, and online college business and law classes. Her designs and articles have been published in many embroidery magazines; Cross Stitch and Needlework, Sampler and Antique Quarterly, Piecework and The Gift of Stitching. She enjoys bringing her knowledge of the originality of using hand-dyed threads and the historical perspective of samplers in all her designing and stitching efforts.

These supplies are readily available at your local needlework shop or fabric shop. All porcelain buttons are included.

This class will be sold out quickly as it is 16"w x 14 1/2"h and is stitched with lots of pinks and burgundy on your choice of 36ct or 40ct linen (see registration form to specify) with Olde Willow's silk floss.

A myriad of specialty stitches are completed on 36ct vintage lentil from Lakeside Linen. While Robin discusses the history of Scottish samplers you will learn satin, four sided, straight, Algerian eyelet, and cross stitch over one and two. The letters and verses add to the beauty and are stitched in hues of burgundy, pink, yellow and brown using Olde Willow silks.
