Exclusive Unpublished Teaching piece
This project is based on an original needle-case in the Hampshire museum and archive Centre. Its date is circa 1715. The original is very small measuring just 4 ½” x 2 ½” my adaption measures 6.5 x 3 inches stitched on 35 count Edinburgh Summer Khaki linen. It has a fascinating history which I talk about during the class. Come join me in stitching with beautiful greens, gold, brown and pink silks. There are two hidden pockets and is stitched with half cross stitch over one thread and lined with gold silk.
Students should bring: Light and Magnification if needed with normal stitching supplies.
