Exclusive Teaching Piece
To be thankful is to be grateful. The pilgrims gathered together to acknowledge their Heavenly Father for blessings and the abundance of their harvest and, we too, give thanks on Thanksgiving Day.
This needlework piece is created with the English needlework technique known as Fisherton de la Mere and is worked with a green overdyed silken pearl thread on a natural earthy coloured Belfast linen fabric. Design stitch count is 179w x 89h and measures approximately 11” x 5½”.
This piece will be a daily reminder to be thankful for our many blessings.
An added bonus – create a scissors fob with the Fisherton de la Mere technique with the overdyed silken pearl thread in the colour of your choice.
Kit includes: Two pieces of 32 count linen is included. One piece each of Raw Belfast linen & Platinum linen, Silken Pearl #10 overdyed by the Thread Gatherer, DMC Pearl cotton #12, DMC stranded cotton floss
Please bring to class: 4” embroidery hoop or Q snap is essential and any extra light or magnification with normal stitching supplies.
