Imagine a vintage mother of pearl button scissor fob of 14 graduated and carved buttons that you make to adorn your green handled scissors. Then, learn to create a hidden-seams “envelope” or bunny hutch stitched with Caron Collection Soie Cristale silks on a warm 35 count Cocoa linen from Weeks Dye Works. Picture a golden brown cross stitched bunny sitting on three shades of green Bargello grass. The back of the 3 ½” by 5” envelope is sealed with another antique mother of pearl button. BUT WAIT!! There’s more—the cross stitched bunny is actually a soft interpretation of the same bunny in wax molded from my own antique European chocolate mold. HOP TO IT! Both the wax bunny and the scissor fobs will be unique to this class and not easily duplicated.
