Thrilling classes, events, and lectures for Nashua, NH, May 2017

Our show will be filled with classes that just keep getting better every year! Shopping days Friday and Saturday are open to the public. Day admission may be purchased on site. There may be classes with openings and you may sign up for additional classes at this event. But, be aware that very few classes may be available because most everyone preregisters and teachers have few available kits. Susan Greening Davis joins us again as our emcee for the week.

During our weekend remember to look for our display of gift baskets and purchase raffle tickets to benefit breast cancer research. Our vendors, manufacturers, teachers and exhibitors have generously donated enticing designs, products and accessories that would be a thrill for any Stitcher to take home for the price of a raffle ticket. The week wouldn’t be complete without our Round Robin evening when four teachers each present a kitted project. Each session has four different kits and you may sign up for either session or both sessions. Join us at our Meet and Greet on Wednesday evening for a preview of class projects. Join us on Thursday evening for our Preshow Shopping evening for members. This is a free event to members and $15 to nonmembers. Please preregister for all the events. The Saturday Night Event is a high energy gathering where Pam, Tammy, and Susan our emcee for the evening have conjured up an evening of fun filled various surprises, with a silent auction to benefit breast cancer research with a wonderful tasty buffet dinner included.

  • Our Vendor Round Robin

What better way to begin your event experience by joining in on the vendor Round Robin? Here is an opportunity to spend time with 6 talented vendors/designers in a Round Robin. Each is a designer, manufacturer, and/or shop/internet business. Come and learn a little about them and receive 6 small kits designed by these participating vendors/designers. All six vendors/designers will present their project and explain finishing while giving insight as to how they began in business and/or what inspires them.

  • Saturday Night Event

Please join us in Celebrating Celebration of Needlework’s 24th season in beautiful Nashua, New Hampshire. The Saturday Night Event is a spectacular evening of fun, food, and frolicking. It begins with a tasty dinner buffet to relax you and fuel you for a special night of entertainment. Susan Greening Davis, our emcee, has fashioned a unique kit just for this event. Our Silent Auction proceeds benefit breast cancer research.

  • Lecture Pass

The Lecture Pass will get you into any lecture, any time it is offered. You can show up for one or all four if you want too. This year at Celebration has added to the lecture pass giving you a total of four lectures by Claudia Dutcher, Sue Blomley and Susan Greening Davis. You do not have to be a stitcher to appreciate what is shared in any of the lectures.

Separately we are offering only to those who have purchases the lecture pass two optional Project Packets which include written historical material, projects related to the Perforated Paper Samplers or Quaker lecture by Claudia. Susan is also offering a kit on her lecture. These kits may be purchased at the registration desk from Kelly. You will NOT be able to purchase the Perforated Paper Samplers or Quaker Project Packet unless you have purchased a Lecture Pass. All lectures review to schedule under special events or by each individual teacher. The Project Packets are not included in the Lecture fee. Attendees are limited to purchase one each of Claudia’s kits and are not available till lecture is done. If there are any unsold Packets available at that time, then attendees can purchase additional copies. The Project Packets will be sold from the Celebration Desk and not in the lecture.
