sharing the love of needlework through shows, classes and seminars
History of Celebration of Needlework
Celebration of Needlework was inspired by a group ten of New England shop owners who were anxious to promote the industry. They were thankful for the support of their vendors and clients and wanted to find a way to reward them for this long time relationship. At this time two of the original sponsors, Pam Reed of Olde Colonial Designs and Donna Reynolds of Creative Picture Faming and Creative Stitching, are planning and administering the two shows and one seminar for each year. Celebration is the oldest, continuously running needleart show in the U.S. and Canada. It is our goal to continue to provide the best opportunity for local shops to exhibit at a major regional show as well as to unite nationally known designers to teach in New England. Our success is a direct result of hundreds of needle artists who have come to take classes and to hear lectures from the finest teachers we can find and to shop at a marketplace with booths bursting with the latest up-to-date merchandise. Examine the class descriptions and teacher bios to confirm that you have learned to expect the best at Celebration. Join us in 2008 for our 16th show in Louisville, KY and in 2009 for our 17th and 18th shows . These events will be the best yet and you'll never want to miss another!
